A Business Career Built for Entrepreneurship
Before McKee Media, Chris spent over 10 years as a sales leader in the tech industry, building a strong track record as a high-performing sales professional. That career built the exact skill set entrepreneurship demands: reading people, managing relationships, closing deals, and leading with discipline under pressure. Those skills didn't stay behind when Chris moved into content and drone work; today, he runs the sales side of McKee Media, a natural extension of the career he built long before the agency existed. That same business instinct is also what drives how he leads our creative department, with the structure, accountability, and client focus of someone who built a career on delivering results.
A Creative Eye That Started With Music
Alongside that business career, Chris was building a second skill set: a background in music and audio editing. That foundation of understanding timing, pacing, and how to structure something so it holds attention start to finish carried directly into video editing. Cutting a video well is the same discipline as mixing a track well: know what to cut, know what to keep, and know how to build toward a moment. From there, drone photography and videography was the next natural step, the same eye for composition and story applied to an angle no ground-level shot can capture. Chris is now FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured, running aerial and ground-level productions for clients across Central Texas.

How to Work With Chris and the Team
McKee Media offers two ways to work with us:
One-off content creation. For businesses that need photography, videography, or graphic design for a specific need (social media content, website imagery, email newsletters, or ad creative), Chris's team runs standalone content sessions. This includes real estate photography and videography, aerial roof inspections, event coverage, and promotional or marketing video, all shot in 4K video and HD photography with fast turnaround.
Retainer content management. For brands that want to hand off content and digital marketing entirely, McKee Media offers ongoing retainer packages covering content planning, creative production, social strategy, and execution, so business owners can stay focused on running their business while our team runs their marketing.
